Explanation of Terms

Visitors (unique visitors) reflect the approximate number of different people who have accessed the Scranton Student over the course of the month. Visitors are reset at the end of each month.

Visits reflect the number of times that users have visited the Scranton Student. If someone visits the site for the first time, a new "visit" is recorded. If the user leaves the Scranton Student and comes back to it within a half-hour, it is still considered the same visit. Another visit is recorded if the user has not accessed the site within the past half-hour.
